Lady Bulldogs Win a Close One
Mayci Edwards hit two key free throws in the final 30 seconds Monday to help the Lady Bulldogs hold on for a 37-33 win over visiting Woodlawn.
Carmi improved to 5-8 while dropping Woodlawn to 8-5 on the year.
Julia Smith led the Lady ‘Dogs with nine points. Sydney Lucas and Elleigh Gray chipped in eight each, Edwards seven and Mariah VanMatre five.
The Lady Bulldogs are off until the Merry Mules Tournament in Fairfield Dec. 26 and 27.
