Lady Bulldogs fall to Fairfield
Clinton Wolff’s Lady Bulldogs dropped a 49-40 contest the Fairfield Monday night at the Mule Barn.
Trailing 35-27 heading into the fourth quarter, CWC cut the deficit to three at 38-25 with three minutes to play, but could not get any closer.
Julia Smith paced the maroon and white with 17 points. Elleigh Gray added 11, while Sydney Lucas supplied 10.
The Lady Bulldogs return to the hardwood Thursday, hosting Flora at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium.
