Lady Bulldogs End Season With a Win
Freshman Elleigh Gray poured in a career-high 18 points Thursday to lead the Carmi-White County Lady Bulldogs to a 51-34 win in Johnston City.
The win closed out the regular season for coach Clinton Wolff’s Lady Bulldogs, who are 11-19 overall and went 2-8 in the Black Diamond Conference East.
Sydney Lucas added a dozen points for the Lady ‘Dogs, Mariah VanMatre nine, and Julia Smith and Mayci Edwards six each.
The Ladies will begin Class 2A regional play Monday at 6 in Wayne City against Du Quoin.
