Kiwanis Celebrate the Season
The Carmi Kiwanis Club held their final meeting of 2018 Thursday.
The highlight of the day’s program was Kiwanian Scott Johnson, who presented a dramatic reading of Dr. Ralph Wilson’s, “Shepherds, Angels and a Manger.
Prior to Scott’s reading, Kiwanis President Katelyne Wolff reminded the club of Pancake Day set for Feb 23.
The next club meeting will be January 3rd. Miss White County, Sidney Bingman will be the first program of the new year.
The January 10th meeting will feature the musical talents of Kelsi Kessler and Emily Williams; and there will be another special birthday for a club member.
Wolff reminded members to add “perfect attendance at Kiwanis as a part of their New Year’s Resolutions. She pointed out it would be “wonderful to have full tables at Kiwanis, the Best Club in Carmi. I can see it now, such a beautiful sight.”
