In Edwards County Court on Monday, 43 year old Kelly King of Carmi was sentenced to two and a half years in prison on a charge of forgery.
King was sentenced last Monday to an identical term in White County Court on a charge of being a felon in possession of a weapon. The two sentences will run concurrently.
In addition to prison time, King will serve one year of mandatory supervised release after incarceration, and was ordered to pay all mandated fines, fees, costs, and assessments as well as make restitution to Casey’s General Store in the amount of $44.86.
