Karnak Arrest
Illinois State Police arrested 31 year old Christie D. Brown of Karnak for involuntary manslaughter and aggravated domestic battery over the weekend.
According to a press release from Illinois State Police at District 7, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department responded to a domestic dispute in Karnak. Upon arrival they discovered 33 year old Durial D. King had been stabbed. King later died due to the injuries.
Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department then called for further investigative assistance from the Illinois State police.
The investigation revealed that King had been stabbed by Brown during a domestic dispute.
Saturday, Brown was officially charged with one count of Involuntary manslaughter and one count of aggravated Domestic Battery.
Brown is currently being held in the Pulaski County Dention Center. Bail had not been set as of early Monday morning.
The investigation continues according to the Illinois State Police.
