Illinois Eastern Community Colleges was recognized as a top-five finalist for the Campus Labs
2019 All-Star Award in October. The All-Star award is awarded to the campuses that have
demonstrated sustained effort and successful adoption of Campus Labs tools at their institution
over time.
Finalists were chosen from both campus submissions as well as internal nominations. A first and
second place winner were chosen for this category. Winners received a $1000 prize, as well as a
registration pass to either the 2020 Elevate or Connect conference.
“The work that our faculty and staff have done with the Campus Labs’ products has not only
helped our accreditation process,” stated Brandon Weger, program director for student learning
assessment for IECC. “It has helped us make data-informed decisions to advance our
institutional goals. I am very honored to see our district recognized for its sustained efforts and
commitment to continually improving student learning.”
