Homecoming Celebrated at WVC

Wabash Valley College celebrated Homecoming 2018 on Saturday, February 3, with coronation of King and Queen at halftime of the WVC-Lake Land men’s game. Austin Woods of Mt. Carmel, representing Collegiate Farm Bureau, was crowned Homecoming King; and Christy Haase, of Mt. Carmel, also representing Collegiate Farm Bureau, was crowned Homecoming Queen.

The First Runner-Up for King was Ryan O’Connell, of St. Louis, MO, representing Warrior Baseball; and First Runner-Up for Queen was Dana Fancher, of Edgewood, IL, representing Players Guild.

Second Runner-Up for King was Elias McVaigh, of West Salem, IL, representing Diesel Club; and Second Runner-Up for Queen was Madison Ferreira, of Grayville, IL, representing Health Professionals Club.

Homecoming Queen 2017 Faith Trimble performed the honors of the coronation ceremony.

A Homecoming Dance, open to all WVC students and alumni, was held upstairs in the Spencer Sports Center following the basketball game.
