The White County Farm Bureau at 304 East Robinson Street in Carmi will be the site of a HEMP Forum this Sunday, July 29th at 1:00 p.m. With the current legislation before us nationally and in Illinois, some say it’s time for farmers in our area to start thinking about Industrial Hemp as an alternative cash crop. They say Hemp has the ability to heal our economy as well as our environment. The event is hosted by WHITECOUNTYCANN with assistance by the White County Farm Bureau, Southern Illinois Growers Network, and FoodWorks.
