Healthy Living for Brain and Body

For many many years, we’ve known the health of the brain and body are connected.
But now science is able to provide insights into how to optimize physical and cognitive health as we age.

With that in mind, the Carmi Public Library invites folks to join in a special presentation to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement.  The use of hands-on tools to help one incorporate the recommendations into a plan for healthy aging will be covered.

The one hour program will include time for questions and answers.

The program will be presented Wednesday, March 27 from 10 until 11:30 that morning at the Library located at 103 Slocumb Street. The program is presented by Alzheimer’s Association and one may register online at communityresourcefinder.org
