A Harrisburg doctor accused of killing his wife has been found guilty of conspiring to kidnap former Saline County States Attorney Mike Henshaw from behind bars.
The jury took just under two hours on Friday to find Dr Brian Burns guilty in the kidnapping case. The three day trial featured audio recordings made by placing a wire on Burns’ cellmate, who turned evidence in the case over to authorities.
Burns will remain in the Saline County Detention Center and will attend a pre-trial hearing in the death of Carla Burns on Friday.
Sentencing for Burns in the kidnapping case will be on July 25.
