Hamilton County Law Enforcement Arrest Couple on Domestic Battery Charges

On Friday 08/02/2019 at 05:33AM Hamilton County 911 received a call about a male subject at 300 S. Hancock St. in McLeansboro that had been struck by his wife in a vehicle.  Upon arrival Officer Kelsey Bowman spoke with Paul Nelloms who stated that his wife had struck him with the car in the front yard and also struck the air conditioner next to the residence.  Paul stated that the female identified as Angie Nelloms fled towards Eldorado.  Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputy Matt Bryson located Angie Nelloms in Dale, IL.  Angie stated that her and Paul had been involved in a physical altercation in which Paul struck her multiple times.  Both Paul and Angie refused medical treatment.  Paul Nelloms and Angie Nelloms were both taken into custody for Domestic Battery and transported to the White County Jail pending bond being set by a judge.

Court records indicate Angela Nelloms also faces a charge of Possession of Cannabis, Less than 10 grams.  Both Paul and Angela are due in court Monday for first appearances.  Angela Nelloms remained behind bars as of Monday morning.
