Grayville Woman Sentenced to Prison
A Grayville woman was sentenced late last week in Edwards County Circuit Court on a charge of forgery.
24 year old Skylar N. Johnston was sentenced to three years in an Illinois Department of Corrections facility, followed by a one year term of mandatory supervised release.
Johnston previously admitted to violating her probation on a Class 3 Felony charge of forgery.
Judge Michael Valentine was the sentencing judge. Edwards County State’s Attorney Eric A. St. Ledger prosecuted the case and public defender Brian Shinkle represented Johnston.
The Grayville Police Department was the lead investigating agency on the case
