A 24-year-old Grayville woman is free following an arrest in Carmi late Sunday evening. It was about 10 minutes before 9pm when Carmi Police pulled over Rachel McCully near the corner of First and Stewart Street. No indication in the report what prompted the traffic stop, but police say she was arrested for Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle. She was subsequently booked and released just after 10pm with a notice to appear.
