43 year old Ricky Pollard of Grayville was sentenced in Edwards County Court to three and a half years in prison on Friday on a charge of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm.
Pollard will be under mandatory supervised release for one year following incarceration, and was ordered to pay the costs of the court as well as all mandatory fines and fees.
The case against Pollard was prosecuted by States Attorney Eric St. Ledger and Pollard was sentenced by Judge Michael Valentine.
