A Grayville man is behind bars following his arrest Wednesday night on multiple drug charges.
Grayville Police executed a search warrant at a Vine Street home and recovered about 500 grams of pot along with suspected items used in the manufacture and distribution of the drug. 49 year old Jeff Houchin was arrested around 6:30 Wednesday night. Police Chief Roy Mann said the search also resulted in an unspecified amount of a controlled substance.
Houchin is being charged with the Manufacture or Delivery of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Edwards County States Attorney Mike Valentine assisted the department in obtaining the search warrant. Edwards County Sheriff’s authorities and the ISP also helped out in the execution of the search warrant.
