40 year old Nathan Mitchell of Grayville was arrested for DUI Monday evening by the White County Sheriff’s Department after a call came into dispatch about a man throwing beer bottles out of a vehicle in Colony West.
Upon arrival at the scene at 5:08 pm, Sheriff Maier found Mitchell intoxicated in a pickup and took him into custody with assistance from Illinois State Police. During transport to the White County Jail and then at the Jail, Mitchell was verbally combative and abusive.
Mitchell has been charged with DUI and driving on a revoked license. He is being held at the White County Jail on a $300 bond.
