Grayville Council Meets Tuesday
The Grayville City Council will meet Tuesday evening for a full agenda, including some items that have been discussed earlier this year.
The Grayville commissioners will be asked to approve a TIF agreement with Bruce Piper Southern Indiana Tire, a division of Best One Tire. There will also be a TIF request from the Grayville School district.
The issue of vacating a portion of High Street will be revisited, along with a request for property near the sewer lagoon.
There will be a sale of excess property notice and a request for a truck purchase for the sewer department.
Blowers for Hoosier Stamping Lift station and the sewer lagoon will be discussed.
The Grayville council will also consider authorizing the purchase of Natural gas from PEFA and likely executing an amendment to the utility gas management agreement.
Edwards County will ask the commissioners for funding to help the Edwards County K-9 program.
Salt storage and a sexual harassment police update will round out the meeting.
The Grayville council normally meets the second and fourth Monday of the month, but due to observing Veterans Day on Monday, the meeting was moved to 7 p.m. Tuesday. The meetings, as are all municipal and county board meetings, are open to the public.
