FMH upgrades MRI

Pictured are Cody Allen, R.T. (R)(MR), MRI Technologist with Associates in Medical Imaging* and Devin Deisher, B.S., RT(R)(CT)(MR), FMH Director of Diagnostic Imaging with the new GE SIGNA Voyager MRI at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

Fairfield Memorial Hospital transforms the patient experience with advanced applications of their new GE SIGNA Voyager MRI.  This new mobile unit is 75% more energy efficient than previous models.  Those who experience a new standard of patient comfort with SIGNA Voyager will recognize the value of the wide Comfort Plus table with low height and open 70cm design.  This allows patients to rest freely and have a comfortable scanning experience.  It also has a weight limit of 551 pounds, faster scan time, and is the newest available software that GE has to offer. This new MRI Equipment has an extensive set of high quality and efficient imaging capabilities that enables you to achieve desired outcomes across your entire practice area.

“It is exciting to have a MRI System for our rural community and have access that compares to or is even better than what they would find at large medical centers,” stated Devin Deisher, B.S., RT(R)(CT)(MR), Director of Diagnostic Imaging.
