Each month, Fairfield Memorial Hospital honors an employee who has exemplified outstanding patient care and customer service internally and externally.
In February, Edith “Edie” Breuer, who works in Environmental Services, was named Employee of the Month. Edie is an exceptionally gifted worker with a great attitude. She always looks on the bright side or sees the silver lining behind the clouds. Edie is an optimist that is just a joy to be around. When she was presented with the honor, she was quite touched to be recognized by her work family.
“I greatly enjoy my work and those who I work with I consider my second family. I truly love them all and this is a wonderful honor,” stated Edie.
“Edie is a joy to have on my team. She has such great patience and shows concern for those she works with as much as a mother would have for her children. She finds the good in every person and smiles in the face of adversity. Edie is always pleasant, helpful, positive, hardworking, and is always delightful to be around. We are very blessed to have her as part of the Environmental Services team,” stated Keyna Warren, Director of Environmental Services.
