Each month, Fairfield Memorial Hospital honors an employee who has exemplified outstanding patient care and customer service internally and externally.
In December, Rebecca Fewkes, ASCP, PBT, who works as a phlebotomist in the Laboratory Department located in the FMH Medical Arts Complex, was named Employee of the Month. Rebecca is known to be an exceptionally fun-loving individual who has such a contagious laugh that it brightens her patients and coworkers day. With a heart to serve, she is very dependable and a great worker who is always willing to lend a helping hand. Rebecca is exceptional with her patients and has the ability to put those who could be anxious during their blood draws at ease.
“Rebecca, or Becca as we call her, is an exceptional phlebotomist who always has a smile on her face. She truly has an infectious laugh that instantly elevates the mood in her environment, and we receive many compliments from our patients regarding the care she provides. I am so extremely fortunate to have her as part of my team,” stated Robert Hale, MA, MT (AAB) Director of Laboratory Services.
