Each month, Fairfield Memorial Hospital honors an employee who has exemplified outstanding patient care and customer service internally and externally.

In December, Sara Reid, RN, who has been with Fairfield Memorial Hospital for just over a year, was named Employee of the Month. Sara is Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Fairfield Memorial Hospital who receives rave reviews from her patients. The physicians described her as a very bright and skillful nurse who steps right up and always does a great job no matter how difficult the task. Her peers describe her as someone who always has a smile on her face and has a way of uplifting them even on the most difficult days on the job. All agree that Sara’s knowledge and clinical skills ring strong on a daily basis for her patients.
“Sara is always willing to show up early to help cover a shift, when needed. She takes on any challenge presented and overcomes any obstacle with positivity. I am extremely thankful to have Sara as a member of my team,” stated Tracy Taylor, RN, Emergency Department and Urgent Care Nurse Leader.
