Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s Diagnostic Imaging Department was the recipient of funds from Edwards County Volley For A Cure and IWA Productions to be used for a need within the Mammography Department. These financial gifts were recently used to purchase ten lint-free robes. At Fairfield Memorial Hospital, Mammography patients who have to reenter the hospital for further diagnostic imaging, such as ultrasound, will be provided these luxurious robes to wear when being transported from the Mammography unit to the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
“We are grateful for these monetary gifts that allow us to further enhance the comfort provided to our Mammography patients. The Mammography Technologists are quite pleased to have these robes to offer their patients as they are transferred from one area to another for testing,” stated Devin Deisher, RT(R)(CT)(MR), Director of Diagnostic Imaging.
