Special recognition was recently given to Kenley Hilgeman, the overall winner of the Fairfield Memorial Hospital Heart Health Drawing Contest. As the overall winner, she received a Wal-Mart gift card and her 6th grade classmates at Grayville Junior High School were each given a t-shirt with her design printed on it. The class celebrated her accomplishment with a pizza party hosted by FMH!
Fairfield Memorial Hospital sponsored the Heart Health drawing/coloring contest that was open to 4th-6th grade students. Each student who participated drew a picture of what they considered a “healthy heart” to be.

“We were thrilled by the number of entries we received from all the participating schools. In addition, the creativity among these students was wonderful. There is a lot of talent and vision among these students. A winner from each school received a Wal-Mart gift card. Erie School, Maggie Hambrough – NCOE School, Olivia Russell – New Hope, Nevaeh Hampton – Washington Attendance – Carmi School, Jake Vaughan – Wayne City, Emily Goering – West Salem Grade School.
