Fightin Cardinals Fall to Galatia
NCOE looked to be in control, but it all came unraveled in the waning minutes of regulations down at Deaton Gym in Harrisburg, Thursday night.
Galatia made up a seven point deficit to tie it and send the game into overtime.
In four minute of overtime, the Bearcats were able to prevail, winning 70 to 66.
Jack Riggs led the way scoring for the Fighting Cardinals.
Brandon Skaggs poured in 14 and Joe Melton added ten.
The disappointing loss drops NCOE into the seventh place game tonight (Friday) at 5:30. That game can be heard on WROY AM 1460 and the new 92.1 FM, beginning around 5:20. Jeff Skaggs and Joey Lane will have the action covered.
