Fairfield Memorial Hospital and Frontier Community College offer Health Education Seminars on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m., with this month’s seminar will be held in the FMH Medical Arts Complex Community Education room.
The upcoming health seminar’s focus will be on heart health. FMH will have Carla Dunahay, PTA, presenting about what Cardiac Rehabilitation is, educating on the risk factors of Heart Disease, and demonstrating exercises to help individuals go from a sedentary life to building cardiovascular strength, and transitioning into a walking heart rate.
Local Natural Health Enthusiast and Independent Wellness Advocate, Michelle Ward, will be providing natural tips and tricks to reducing stress and educating on how stress and emotions can have an impact heart health.
Frontier Community College’s Luke Harl will close the seminar by sharing some of the FCC Bobcat Den offerings to promote healthy heart habits.
