Voting member dues increasing in White County
The White County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, approved a resolution raising voting membership dues from $65.00 to $75.00, effective January 1, 2019.
Directors came to this decision based on several factors including:
1) An anticipated increase in the portion of dues that is paid to the Illinois Farm Bureau beginning January 1, 2019;
2) A requirement that county Farm Bureau voting dues be maintained above the statewide average to remain eligible for partnership grants; and
3) The last increase in voting membership dues was in January of 2003 (6 years ago).
White County voting members will see the change on their 2019 membership dues notices, which were mailed in early December. Associate members (those who pay $20/year) will not see a change in their membership dues rate.
The White County Farm Bureau directors are committed to providing an increased level of value and programming for your membership. If you have suggestions on ways to accomplish this objective, please talk to your White County director.
