A 23 year old Evansville, Indiana woman, Destennie Holtzclaw was arrested by Indiana State Police Tuesday night. A Trooper patrolling the area of US 41 near Lynch road around 9:50 PM stopped Holtzclaw for making an unsafe lane change. While talking to Holtzclaw, the Officer detected a strong odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle was conducted and troopers found approximately 23 grams of methamphetamine, two THC gummies and drug paraphernalia. Further investigation revealed Holtzclaw was dealing the suspected methamphetamine. Holtzclaw was arrested and taken to the Vanderburg County Jail where she is currently being held without bond.
