If you love the pageantry of knights on horses in the Middle Ages, the Southwest Indiana Chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism would like to invite you to a special event.
Saturday, June 10 there will be an Equestrian and Animal Husbandry Symposium at the Gibson County Fairgrounds in Princeton, Indiana!
Come and learn about horses and animals and how they were used hundreds of years ago! Classes begin Saturday, June 10 at 9 AM. There will be over 60 classes featuring horses to bee-keeping to coursing greyhounds!
The SCA, or Society for Creative Anachronism, is a national, not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to recreating European arts and tournament combat prior to the 17th century.
Guests are encouraged to wear clothes that look like what people wore in the Middles Ages. If guests would like to borrow clothing for the day, contact event staff for more information.
Gate fees for adult non-members are $20 per person. Children ages 6 to 17 are $10 each. There is no admission fee for children five and under. SCA members will get a discount.
Please note that children must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians at all times in order to attend!
The Equestrian and Animal Event is sponsored in part by a local Business in Princeton, Medieval Collectibles (medievalcollectibles.com).
