Carmi Police arrested 39 year old April Spoonemore of Enfield Friday afternoon at the Dollar General on a felony charge of retail theft.
Spoonemore was taken into custody at 1:11 pm after employees witnessed her stuffing items into her purse and leaving without paying. The charge was upgraded to a felony due to a previous theft conviction.
Spoonemore is being held at the White County Jail on a $2000 bond.
