An Enfield woman was arrested by Carmi Police following a traffic stop early Wednesday morning for possession of methamphetamine.
22 year old Jacklyn Lamont was pulled over near the intersection of Maple and 7th Streets at 2:06 am. She was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a vehicle with an expired registration and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle. Lamont was also cited for possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis paraphernalia.
Lamont is being held at the White County Jail pending a court hearing.
