The Enfield Village Board met for their June meeting on Tuesday night.
The money the Village borrowed from the bank is now in their backhoe account. So far, they haven’t received any bids on the old backhoe and the new one they recently purchased has yet to be delivered.
All Village employees are now signed up with AFLAC for health insurance.
An ordinance was passed approving $11,500 in Motor Fuel Tax funds for surface repair of Village roads under the Illinois highway code.
They’re currently in the process of getting quotes on repairing the tennis court at the park.
The Masonic Lodge will hold a Fourth of July celebration at the park. Food will be available and fireworks will begin at about 8:30 p.m.
The board went into executive session for about 15 minutes to discuss personnel. No action was taken.
