The board unanimously approved a cannabis business establishment prohibition ordinance, in which all cannabis transactions are prohibited within village limits where a license is needed. It will go into effect ten days after being published.
Mark Worlds was approved as a part-time police officer and will begin work soon. He has been in law enforcement for many years and is a former Grayville Police Chief.
The village did purchase the Ford Ranger Extended Cab Pickup Truck. It has been insured. They bought a new tool box for it and are looking for some headache racks.
Board members approved $200 Christmas bonus for each village employee.
They are looking for someone to play Santa for Santa Sunday as Mayor Tom Harbour will be unable to do it this year.
The Enfield Christian Church will be having a live nativity on December 7th and 8th. The board agreed to block off the street to Route 45 from 4 to 8:30 PM both nights. There also will be someone there directing traffic.
The new gas meter has been installed at Booth School.
The roof on the village shop has been repaired.
New LED lights have put in at the village office building.
The park has been winterized and everything has been turned off.
