There was again much discussion about the Village upgrading their billing software, as they’re trying to choose between two different systems. Their current software will expire at the end of the year, so there will have to be a decision made by the November board meeting.
The Village still plans to increase their water rates in either December or January.
A 25 minute executive session was held to discuss personnel. No action was taken.
The Mule Day’s celebration and car show went well.
Enfield clean-up day will be Saturday, November 5th.
Trick-or-treating will run from 4 to 6 pm on Halloween night, October 31st.
The Masonic Lodge will hold a trunk-or-treat on that same night from 5 to 7 pm, serving hot dogs and hot chocolate.
The Board decided to again this year give out turkeys for thanksgiving and hams for Christmas to all Village employees.
Mayor Tom Harbour thanked the Board members and everyone for their good wishes to him during his hospital stay
And it was noted that beginning with the November 15th Board meeting, the meetings will start at 7 pm due to the return of standard time.
