In White County Court Tuesday, 33 year old Jarrod Talley of Enfield was sentenced to five years in prison on a charge of violation of an order of protection according to States Attorney Denton Aud.
Following incarceration, Talley will be under mandatory supervised release for four years, and was ordered to pay all mandatory fines, fees, costs and assessments.
Carmi attorney Jonathan Turpin represented Talley, and Judge Mark Stanley handed down the sentence. The White County Sheriff’s Department investigated the case.
