43 year old Lige Cheek of Enfield was arrested by the White County Sheriff’s Department on a charge of aggravated assault after receiving a call about a disturbance at 11:30 pm Tuesday.
When deputies arrived at 600 W Main Street in Enfield, they found Cheek in the street visibly upset. After speaking with the complainant, it was learned that Cheek had had a verbal argument with three individuals over a barking dog, and that Cheek had shoved two men during the altercation.
Cheek was arrested without incident and transported to the White County Jail, where he is being held on a $150 bond.
