Desper Sentenced to Prison
A Marion, Ill man, 32 year old Dylan Gene Desper was sentenced to three years in an Illinois prison in White County Circuit Court Thursday.
White County State’s Attorney Denton Aud reported Desper was sentenced to three years on several charges, including possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony; possession of an open title, also a class three felony and criminal damage to property, a class four felony.
Desper will serve one year mandatory supervised release on each of the charges.
The sentences will run concurrently.
Desper was on probation for the criminal damage to property charge on a 2015 case, when he picked up the new charges.
The Carmi Police Department was the investigating agency in the case.
