Democratic Chili Set for Saturday
The White County Democratic Central Committee will host a chili supper Saturday evening (nov. 3) at the VFW Post on East Main Street in Carmi.
Serving of chili and all the fixings will be from 5 until about 8 Saturday night. The supper will be free, but donations will be glady accepted.
White County Democratic Committee Chairperson Nancy Mitchell said this will be a great chance to meet the local Democratic candidates for county office, as well as the democratic candidate for the 109th Illinois General Assembly Seat, Cynthia Given.
. She also pointed out there will be a wide variety of desserts available as well.
Again, that will be held at the VFW, Saturday evening from 5 until 8.
