CWCHS golf teams fall at Eldorado; get golfballs from WCRC

Tuesday, Wabash Christian Therapy & Medical Clinic, Outreach Coordinator Debbie Hoskins and Wabash Christian, Executive Director Sandra Bryant presented each golfer with golf ball and tees from the outpatient therapy department at the Carmi Country Club.

Carmi White County High School boys and girls golf team traveled to Eldorado to take on the Eagles on Wednesday.  The boys came up short but were lead by Ty Barbre carding a 42 and Kaden Carter turning in a 43.  Barbre was caught in a three way tie for medalist as the Bulldogs lost 178 to 172.

The girls took on the Eagles and the Mt. Vernon, Indiana Wildcats.  The Wildcats had strong group of girls and prevailed with a 184.  Eldorado finished next with a 210 and Carmi with a 223.  The Bulldogs were lead by Senior Lily Redman who for the second match in a row posted a 47.  This time it was not quite good enough to be medalist.

The Bulldogs finish the week at home against Mt. Carmel.

The CWCHS golf team is currently selling raffle tickets for the helicopter golf ball drop on September 8.  Hundreds of balls will drop from the sky at halftime of the boys football game.  You can still buy tickets up to the 1st quarter of the game.
