The Carmi-White County junior high and NCOE junior golfers squared off in a dual meet at Carmi on Monday with NCOE coming out on top by a 196-204 score.
NCOE was led by Kallen Sutton with a 44 followed by Briar Ridge with a 47, Mason Ray a 49, and Liam Forston with a 56.
CWC was led by medalist Alex Hale with a 43 followed by Bentley Nelson with a 46, Bryant O’Daniel a 54, and Ridge Balding with a 61.
On the girls side, New Hope’s Amelia Hopfinger was medalist with a 59, CWC’s Gabby Mullins 2nd with a 64, and NCOE’s Madison Campbell 3rd with a 70.
The young CWC golfers will be back in action next Tuesday at Harrisburg.
