The Board of Directors of the Carmi Recreational Summer League (CRSL) has designated Friday, April 22nd, 2016, as their Corporate Work Day at Bradshaw Park in Carmi. As in years past, an assortment of various work projects will be completed throughout the park (painting, bleacher & building repairs, building a batting cage, work inside the new Concession Stand, general park clean up, etc.), all in preparation for 2016 Opening Day to be held on Saturday, May 7th, at 11 a.m.
The work day will begin at 8 a.m. at the Park with work assignments given out. Whether for 2 or 4 hours or all day, individuals and local businesses are welcome to come and participate in making the Park a better place for young & old alike. A rain date of Friday, April 29th, has also been set in case of bad weather on the 22nd.
