Crossville Winterfest
A good crowd turned out for last weekend’s Christmas parade as part of the It’s a White County Christmas celebration here in Carmi. The parade marked the official arrival of Santa Claus to Carmi. Now it’s Crossville’s turn;
With that in mind, the Village of Crossville, will host the annual WInterfest celebration, Friday, Dec. 7.
The annual festival will include a house decorating contest with the winners to be announced that Friday.
There will be a Vendor Fair and food sales at the Crossville Community Club, the former high school, that Friday. Citizens National Bank will be offering hot chocolate in front of the bank prior to the annual Winterfest parade.
The parade will begin at 7, starting at the township building and proceeding down Main Street to Morrel Street ending at State Street in front of the high school, at Santa’s house.
Santa will be visiting with children after the parade and will be handing out treats to the children.
Additional information about Winterfest is available on the Winterfest Facebook page.
