Crossville Veterans Memorial Barbecue Cook-Off
Crossville will celebrate the 8th annual Veterans Memorial barbecue cook-off and the 6th annual Car show Saturday, May 18.
Activities will get underway on Main Street around 11 that morning as food sales will begin at the fire house. There will be inflatables for the children.
This year’s entertainment includes the Appetizers and the Hard Time Band. Hard Times includes several former Crossville residents and graduates of Crossville High School.
The music will follow the opening ceremonies that will include a color guard and other military traditions at noon. The Appetizers will play for about an hour to be followed by Hard Times Band, who will perform from about 1 until 3 Saturday afternoon.
The car show award ceremonies are set for 3 with the barbecue awards to be presented around 4 p.m.
