Tuesday night’s storms took the life of a Crossville man and hospitalized his wife after they sought shelter in an outbuilding.
White County Coroner Chris Marsh announced Wednesday that 71 year old Thomas McCord was thrown from the building and was found 40-50 yards away in a field. His wife was also injured, and has been transported to a local hospital.
The White County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement Wednesday morning that multiple agencies assisted in the search for Mr. McCord.
