Crop Insurance Program Coming Up
Farmers and landowners looking to learn about changes coming to the 2019 Federal Crop Insurance Program will get a chance during an upcoming crop seminar.
The White County Farm Bureau and local COUNTRY Financial representatives, Rick Basinger, Rick Barbre, and Chad Mitsdarffer will host a seminar in Carmi on Monday, January 7, at 12:00 p.m. at the Farm Bureau office in Carmi.
“This event will offer farmers a chance to better understand how their lifework can be managed and protected,” COUNTRY Financial Representative Rick Basinger said. “The more Illinois farmers are willing to stay informed, the better we can keep their farms and land secure.”
Participants will hear from COUNTRY Financial Crop Agency Manager Doug Yoder, on various crop insurance products including Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC).
