County Fairs
Well, it’s that time of year again….time to be thinking about county fairs which will be getting underway throughout Southeastern Illinois early next month.
The Wayne County Fair in Fairfield will run from July 5 through the 13, while the Richland County Fair in Olney runs from July 6 through the 13th as well.
The Edwards County Fair in Albion gets underway July 17 and continues through July 27.
The Hamilton County Fair in McLeansboro will kick off the same week as the Edwards County Fair. The Hamilton County Fair will run from July 19 through the 28.
The Lawrence County Fair at Sumner runs from July 27 though August 1st.
The White County Fair, here in Carmi will get underway Monday, August 5 and continue through August 12. Details of the local fair are still being worked out, but fair board members urged everyone to come out that week and support the local fair. Details of the White County Fair will be forthcoming later in July.
