County Board Meets Tuesday
The White County Board will meet in regular session at 7 Tuesday night for what should be a fairly routine meeting as there are no controversial items on the May agenda.
The board will be asked to consider a resolution that will establish new civil fees, criminal and traffic assessments to be charged by the circuit clerk.
The board will likely accept the resignation of Gerald York from the White County 911 emergency telephone system board and consider the appointment of Enfield Mayor Tom Harbour to fill that vacancy. Donald Puckett will also be considered for reappointment to the 911 board.
Other business is fairly routine including reports from the county officers.
The county board normally meets the third Tuesday of each month in the upstairs courtroom of the White County Courthouse. The meetings are open to the public.
