County Board Meeting Monday
The White County Board will meet Monday morning for the first of its two mandated day meeting as required by the state.
The meeting will begin at 9 Monday morning in the upstairs courtroom of the White County Courthouse here in Carmi. The county board has a full agenda to cover including several resolutions and agreements.
A resolution of support and commitment of funds to the Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission in the amount of $4,986, along with the consideration of the ordinance setting prevailing wage rates for the county.
The board will be asked to consider a volunteer agreement and release for anyone who helps at the Dog Pound.
Several federal aid agreements and resolution of fund appropriations will be presented to the board covering several road districts.
Don Hoffman with Emling and Hoffman Accounting will be at the meeting to discuss the 2018 White County Audit.
The meeting will include reports from the county officers as well as routine matters such as approving the bills and minutes.
The county board normally meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m., but is required to hold two day meetings a year. Those are normally held in June and September.
The next regular county board meeting will be Tuesday, July 9.
