County Board Agenda
The White County Board will meet in regular session at 7 Tuesday night in the White County Courthouse, upstairs courtroom for what could be a busy meeting, as there are a number of items on the agenda.
The board will consider a new ordinance covering towing fees for impounded vehicles from the White County Sheriff’s Department.
The reappointment of Mike Frashier to the Rides Mass Transit Board for a four year term will be considered.
The annual agreement between the county and the University Extension Council will be presented to the board.
Kenny Usery will likely be appointed to the Southeastern Illinois Economic Development Authority for a two year term, ending in January 2020.
Two resolutions concerning motor fuel tax programs will be presented to the board along with a resolution for federal aid to help cover the cost of resurfacing County Road 1450 East from 650 North to Illinois 142 (a portion of the Epworth/Bel Air Road.
The meeting will include reports from the county officers and a possible executive session to discuss personnel.
The county board normally meets the second Tuesday of each month
