The Indiana Department of Transportation announced today that a small structure replacement is scheduled for S.R. 165 in Posey County. S.R. 165 is expected to close on or after Tuesday, September 5, weather permitting. S.R. 165 is expected to reopen to traffic by the end of the day on Monday, September 11, but work may take longer depending on weather.
The closure will take place about 1.5 miles north of S.R. 66 on the south side of Poseyville. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained throughout the work. The official state detour for the closure will be S.R. 68 to S.R. 69 to S.R. 66.
